On Tuesday 11/10/15 our raw materials to construct our Mask Aligner arrived. The image shows our group member, Zeena opening the package. The next step is to cut, thread, and drill holes into our parts to customize it to our needs.
The gallery of images above shows our team members, Brad and Zeena machining aluminum plates and rods. These parts were machined at George Mason University’s machine shop with the help of Sándor Nyerges.
As of 12/17/15 we have gotten most of our raw materials machined and are now in the process of mounting the microscope and stage onto the rail of our device. The mask table has been assembled and is sitting on top of the rail where the stage will slide into place.
